My Books

Your Gold Mind

I appreciate the little things Like the cool breeze that the wind brings So I feel it’s important that we remove Evil from our lives It’s important that we keep our souls free And embrace our history. Amen

The Charleston 9

I chose this title The Charleston 9 because I was in the area when the incident happened. I was in a store when a fireman was trying to explain and hold back tears at the same time, truly something I could not forget so I give my gratitude to our American heroes. I have been writer for over 20 years and I got books up to my ears. it has become a hobby my way of self expression. I hope you enjoy this book and thank you. Truly yours, R. Shine

The Emmanuel 9

This book was design to help mentor the homeless because it's tough I was once the same and even harassed by racism but as I lived I learned my importance so I jotted down some of my lessons hopefully it will help and if it don't help it sure can't hurt you.

Stop the Killing

When it comes to evil, America has a very serious problem. 2015 In Chas SC, 9 people were gunned down in a church for America. This is a sign, it is now time to stop our foolishness and take a stand. Why? Because our children are being killed by stray bullets. We are the world. Yet still we close our minds to what we see a nation of hate, pain and poverty. Children are looking up to us and they all deserve better. Somehow we all must find a way to make this nation a better place. I do not wish to be a part of this problem but please help this book be a part of the solution. R.shine.

About the Books

This paragraph is consisted for all of my books and that is to remind us this world is a stage we all have a part to play no matter how rich no matter how poor we all must find a way to make this world a better place for all we can be a part of the problem or we can be a part of the solution. Testimonials

A regular sight in urban strongholds like NYC are the homeless, the marginalized, the sick and the suffering. Every now and then the wall of silence, built of mutual distrust and apathy, come tumbling down. We see and feel the poignant and desperate struggle of those who must endure the winters, the subway stations and the annoyed stares of passers by in many of Richard Shine’s highly lyrical poems. According to Shine, his book is a “design to help the homeless because it’s tough I was once the same…so I jotted down my lessons…if it don’t help it sure can’t hurt you.”
Political and motivational, this collection balances social commentary with personal insights and explorations of faith. Poems like "Stop the Fight" address the inherent violence in American society and acts as a call for unity. "You Can't Hide" openly tackles the subject of domestic violence, while "So Divine" serves as a gentle reminder to readers about love's power in an ever-darkening world. Other poems like "Bless You" offer readers even more positivity, reminding them to "Keep your spirit strong." As the collection continues, readers find even more nudges towards the light and the positive. "Striving Days" offers them inspiration to move forward because "Striving days are best days / Bless days are striving days."
